Context of the RSE Review Website

RSE Review puts these resources online as we believe that there is a very important public debate that still needs to take place. The Government is introducing Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) this September.  The Guidance effectively leaves the teaching of ethical, LGBT and moral issues to the individual school.

The protection and welfare of children is a matter of general public concern; and members of the public need to be informed fully in order to participate in any democratic debate. Parents need to be aware of materials that are designed for public use in schools for the education of their children; and we believe that such material should be made publicly available so that parents are informed.

The RSE Review website has therefore been set up to help the public interest and to contribute to the debate.
